Sam started guiding in January 2000 and has not stopped since. Sam loves to talk and show people her wonderful hometown of Edinburgh and her beautiful country, Scotland. She founded Edinburgh Tour Guides in 2000 with her husband Steven, and the company is a family affair. Sam loves history, architecture, and all things Scottish, she's an Outlander fan and loves old ghost stories. She has a sense of humour and likes to keep people entertained during the tour.
Steven has been a driver/guide since 1999. Born and raised in Edinburgh, Steven knows Scotland inside and out and loves to show some of its hidden secrets. He founded Edinburgh Tour Guides with his wife Sam in 2000. Steven now specialises in being a driver/guide for private tours throughout Scotland.
Martin has been guiding in Edinburgh since 2007, he has a passion for Scotland and its rich history. Like the many different tartans and kilts, the tales of our past are equally colourful. Martin now specialises in walking tours. Martin amuses, educates and entertains by combining history with stories of people and places that you will view.

Fran has been guiding all over Scotland since 1989 and over the years has learned every hidden secret and location Scotland has to offer. Fran loves Scotland's beautiful and vibrant country, past and present. She has the knowledge and experience to guide all over Scotland but has a soft spot for Edinburgh walking tours.
Peter started guiding in 2002 and as a lifetime resident of Edinburgh, has the ability to bring Edinburgh to life! He offers a unique insight into Edinburgh’s character, with stories of the famous – and the infamous! His ethos is to inform and to entertain. His tours provide the opportunity to learn about not only the facts, but the stories and tales around Edinburgh’s fascinating history.
