  • Walking Tours Guide

    We operate Day Tours from Edinburgh - Both walking tours and driven day tours. This is a role for a guide who has the knowledge of delivering fun and engaging tours within Edinburgh through walking tours.


    What makes you one of our valued Edinburgh Tour Guides?

    – You’ll meet lots of new people - you will be a friendly and outgoing “people person”

    – You’ll have a flexible approach as with private tours no two are ever the same.
– You’ll have experience in providing tours
– You’ll have an excellent communication skills within the English language
– You’ll have a passion for history and for sharing it with others
– You are physically active and enjoy working outdoors


    What would also help?

     – A good knowledge historic city locations

    – Previous experience in providing tours 


    What availability do I need?

    – 5 Days a week is required – timings and days vary (some weekend work), but the applicant should be available and willing to work from 9:30am until 17:30pm. Actual hours will be reflected by bookings.

    – Overtime available during summer months.


    What is the package?

    – Day Tour Guides will be paid up to £30,000 depending on experience and bookings received.

    – All tips you receive are yours to keep


    Need to know

    – We operate an equal opportunities policy and recruit only on the basis of work criteria and individual merit. Tour Guides will work on a self employed basis.

  • Driver/Guide With Vehicle

    We operate Day Tours from Edinburgh - Both walking tours and driven day tours. This is a role for a guide who has the knowledge of delivering fun and engaging tours that venture out of Edinburgh and discover locations beyond the city.


    What makes you one of our valued Edinburgh Tour Guides?

    – You’ll meet lots of new people - you will be a friendly and outgoing “people person”

    – You’ll have a flexible approach as with private tours no two are ever the same.
– You’ll have experience in providing tours
– You’ll have an excellent communication skills within the English language
– You’ll have a passion for history and for sharing it with others
– You have your own vehicle with relevant insurance (Hire & Reward)

    – You must keep the vehicle clean, tidy and in a good state of repair


    What would also help?

     – A good knowledge historic city locations

    – Previous experience in providing tours

    – Your vehicle to be considered a luxury vehicle 

    – A clean full UK driving license 


    What availability do I need?
